The Slaughtered Lamb is an experimental short film developed as a study on the use of Artificial Intelligence in audiovisual production — an exploration of cinema and new creative tools without abandoning the principles that have always guided my work as an artist.

 

The project involved months of research, experimentation, trial and error, refinement, and hundreds of image generations. Throughout this process, one belief became even stronger: technology alone cannot create sensitivity, artistic vision, atmosphere, or storytelling. These elements depend on the knowledge, experience, and creative decisions of the person behind it.

As an artist, I believe that no technology can replace artistic knowledge, sensitivity, experience, or vision.

The Slaughtered Lamb is also an unofficial tribute to An American Werewolf in London, a film that had a profound impact on me as an artist and continues to inspire generations of horror fans and filmmakers.

 

My sincere thanks to my friends Marcos Buccini, for his collaboration on the development and refinement of the screenplay, and Robson Machado, for his research into the English language of the period. This film would not be the same without their talent, knowledge, and partnership.

 

Above all, The Slaughtered Lamb is an experiment in storytelling, atmosphere, and cinematic language — and a love letter to horror cinema.
